Vote for your favorite Queer of the Month

Web pioneer Keith Stern, whose encylopedic Queers in History will be published this fall by BenBella Books, has launched a new blog  about LGBT personalities in the news.  The focus is on breaking stories about individuals worldwide as the key to understanding the big issues.  Gay marriage, gays in the military, religion, politics, and homophobia are subjects getting wide play in mainstream media.  Stern often picks up stories days or weeks before they gain widespread attention.  The blog is updated throughout the day.

A popular feature of the site allows viewers to vote for “Queer of the Month.”  The winner gets a mini-biography written and posted by Stern.  Past winners include Clay Aiken, Lindsay Lohan, Alice Walker, and Kelly McGillis.
